‘The Veil’ forms a series of artworks within the ‘Spots on my Mirror’ collection, delving into the visual phenomenon of spots or floaters in the eye, often stemming from visual impairment. Abstract compositions of vibrant colors and shapes mimic the appearance of floaters, imbuing a sense of motion and unpredictability. Utilizing texture and layering, I tried to evoke the sensation of peering through a veil or filter, inviting you to share a moment of my altered vision. This poignant series offers a profound insight into my journey with visual impairment, while also celebrating the intricate beauty of human perception.
